This guide will take you step-by-step through downloading, installing and configuring TeamSpeak to connect to our Server. Note that this guide may be used to connect to any server you wish.
Step 1: Download
Firstly you need to download the installer for teamspeak. To do this, visit the following link and select the appropriate file for your computer. If unsure, you can either select a 32Bit Build (x86) or go to your computer properties to check what you have. Ensure you are downloading the 'Client' and not the 'Server' Version.
Step 1b: Determine Version
If you are having trouble determining which version to download, then proceed to do the following to find out your version of windows; (Works on 7 and 8.1)
Click on Start Button -> Right Click on 'Computer' -> Click on Properties
You will see the screen shown here, which clearly says 'System Type:'
Step 2: Install
From here simply run the installer and let it go. It shouldn't take too long and shouldn't require any additional advanced knowledge.
Step 3a: Configuring
Although this is where people seem to get stuck most, this is quite easy. Let's start by clicking on the 'Bookmarks' Menu and then on 'Manage Bookmarks'.
Step 3b: Configuring
This is where all the configuration is. Start by clicking 'Add Bookmark' (Top Left).
A Blank Record will open and you can now enter the settings shown in the provided screenshot.
Once you have completed that, click on OK which will close that window.
Step 4: Connecting
Go to the Bookmarks menu again, this time clicking on the newly created bookmark (See Screenshot). If you did it all correctly, it should connect to the teamspeak.
